For the apps that use Bluetooth communication, a maximum of four devices can be connected at one time. An example would be using Share board to connect three student devices and one device to a projector. Three groups would be able to annotate on the screen that is being projected. Some apps use text to collaborate. Twitter can be used as an audience response. Create a class account and students can tweet class responses and questions.
